Manger Care Centre has various projects all over Gauteng, our main areas of operation are Benoni, Etwatwa, Daveyton, Tshwane and Uitzicht.
These communities are highly influenced by poverty, unemployment, high incidences of crime and most of them are categorized as rural. They are hugely impacted by HIV/AIDS and as a result have a high number of orphaned, vulnerable, and child-headed households. These societal dysfunctions produce a high number of unskilled persons. This decreases access to the already limited employment opportunities. Many of the community members turn to alcohol, drugs, and crime in order to survive. Another consequence of this lack of opportunity and negative social impacts manifests in abuse, rape, violence and crime. It is these lost members of society that Manger Care Centre strives to assist and uplift. Our main beneficiaries are abused woman and children, substance abusers (addicts), convicts, the unemployed, the homeless, disabled persons as well as elderly people that are unable to care for themselves.
